about

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to vio-lence! Recorded in 1996 and garnering some label interest but ultimately unreleased until now, we present the intended debut Outahand record from the original lineup.

Blazing through 15 songs in under 25 minutes and taking cues from the likes of RKL, MDC, Murphy’s Law, and early No Use For a Name, Outahand forged their own brand of mayhem alongside fellow Orcutt/Santa Maria area punk/hardcore bands ISW (In Spite of the World), Drunk in Public, APB, For Instance, Good As Dead, and Missing 23rd.

The ADAT tape of the recording session was recently unearthed by original drummer Frank Hayes, who had it digitized just in time before it turned to dust. Remastered by Joel Grind.
